What a beautiful piece of work, it is just a morsel and quite short, but it does a lot in such a small package. Made my mind think a lot about the world I am playing in and I think that is what makes this game so great, as a game developer myself, this is a gift of game design and I learned a lot. Got only three of the ending but I will explore more in the future as I want to return and digest more of the atmosphere here.
Thanks so much for playing! My goal with this one was to create a small world players could learn more about by taking in the environment and consider the implications of the choices you're making. Good to hear you enjoyed it!
Returned to play, I got the final ending, I am confused, don't know if I wasted the seed or not, is the world better now, is it worse, could I have been selfish, or maybe save someone. You created a gem here.
Congrats on all endings! They all have different outcomes for the world and the people in it. The ending that helps the world get into a better state takes a bit more exploring than the other ones. Thanks so much for playing!
Cool atmosphere, the music reminds me a bit of Disco Elysium's soundtrack. I wish it had a save/load game option though for resuming the game if the player can't finish it for some reason.
A wonderful game. I particularly enjoyed the graphics, and the music felt really fitting. I found some of the distance backtracking could've been shorter. All in all though I really soaked up the ambience of that big, dying wood.
<spoilers abound>
I consumed the seed of light and sacrificed the essence of man.
I think I may have broken the sequence somewhere. I blocked the river before seeing the dirt patch. When I went there it said "it's dry now". I imagine I could've gone there to grow the seed. It's good that it happens like that so it has replay value.

Really cool game: the atmosphere, creepiness/surreality and narrative design all worked really well for me.
Thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed it!
Great game :)
Are there multiple endings? I got the one where it ended in the temple
Yes there are 4 endings!
<Hint/Spoiler>
You can choose not to consume the seed at the temple and take it elsewhere. There's also another ending that doesn't require the seed at all.
nice! Then i'll need to play again :)
Good luck!
great game! the elements work very well together
Thank you for playing!

You're definitely right about the backtracking, maybe a well placed shortcut could reduce some of that distance.
<Spoiler ish>
There is a way to get to the dirt patch with the seed without blocking the river but it does require some exploration.
